Space Requirements

Before installing the Single Column UTV & Mower Storage / Service Lift, make sure the proposed location provides enough room for the lift itself, the equipment being raised, and safe movement around the work area.

Lift Dimensions

• Overall width: 102 inches
• Overall height: 106.3 inches
• Overall depth / length: 130 inches
• Maximum clearance under the platforms: 76.8 inches
• Maximum platform height: 81.3 inches

These measurements describe the lift itself. Additional clearance should be allowed around the lift for loading, unloading, operation, inspection, and service work.

The adjustable platforms accommodate a wide range of equipment including commercial zero-turn mowers, UTVs, ATVs, golf carts and motorcycles (with the optional adapter). Compare your equipment dimensions with the adjustment range shown above before installation.

Check for Overhead Obstructions

The installation area should be free of overhead obstructions such as heaters, building supports, electrical lines, doors, lighting, and other equipment.

Also consider the height of the mower, UTV, golf cart, ATV, or motorcycle while it is raised. The lift operator must make sure the equipment cannot contact the ceiling or any overhead obstruction during operation.

Allow Room for Loading

The lift can be arranged for front loading or side loading. Before anchoring the column, decide how equipment will approach the platforms and leave adequate room for safe loading and unloading.

The column may be positioned to the left, right, or front of the service bay, depending on the layout of the shop and the preferred loading direction.

Plan the Location Before Anchoring

Once the column is anchored, relocating the lift requires additional work. Carefully measure the location, loading path, surrounding clearances, and overhead space before drilling the anchor holes.
